My teaching philosophy will never stay the same, each year will bring new items that I will add to my list. Times will change and so will my view point. I haven’t really thought about my teaching philosophy before my education started last fall and we were forced into thinking about it. As time has went on and I have thought in depth of my own views, and have listened to others I have come up with this list of “ideas” that I think work with this category. Some people will agree with you, and others will not. It is what you believe that makes you, you. Here are some of my ideas.
-I believe every individual has the right to learn. No matter what race, religion, disability, age, gender, etc.
– I believe that every student has the right to use technology, it may not be available at all times but it is a goal we can work towards.
– I believe that my classroom should be a safe place for anyone who enters.
– I believe that a smile really does help.
– I believe that no every minute of the day needs to be spent learning from your desk. The world is a big place go explore!
believe that anti-bullying needs to be put into practice in every school.
– I believe that my classroom should be a safe place for students to grow their own ideas, set goals for themselves and to be confident in what they are doing.
– I believe my students will look up to me, thus I need to set a good example to them.
– I believe everyone learns differently, and that we need to find the way that is right for them.
– I believe that students deserve our full attention.
– I believe that students should be involved in the arts, no mater which one of them it is.
